It's hard to find a landowner who hasn't had trouble measuring land. If you want to confirm the ownership of land, you need to know some general rules of land measurement. At various times the area of land has to be measured and most of the time there is a problem with it. To avoid possible problems related to land it is necessary to know some special rules of land measurement which will be useful in future.
There are two general methods used to measure land in Bangladesh -
Chain Method - The chain method is generally used for surveying large public lands.
Tape/Ribbon Method -
1. It is called tape measure as the land is measured by measuring the land with a tape to find out its square yards or square feet.
2. People like land surveyors often use a tape to measure land.
